Meet my good friend Jaclyn and her sweet husband Mark [and their adorable doggies!]. Jaclyn is an AMAZING photographer located in Wichita specializing in those crisp bright photos that I always envy. [view her work here] She has always been my go to photographer and has become a great friend that seems to always have the answers, and I look up to her so much! I second shot a wedding with her a couple years back when I was just starting. Now we live less than an hour apart and it was quite a shock when she asked ME to take their family photos. It was a huge compliment, really.
For their session, we went back to Jaclyn’s home town and shot at these amazing old farm houses and beautiful country land for about two hours. We wanted to set up something special for the last bit of the golden hour, and ended up rushing to set it up! The funniest part was when all three of us ended up sprinting back and forth from the car to the field before we started shooting, setting up our location, and praying we wouldn’t lose that golden light! I wish we had behind the scenes photos from that…it’s amazing what we will do to get the perfect photo!
Needless to say, their photos came out extremely beautiful. We had a blast and finished the evening off with a giant pizza. It was hard work! I am glad to finally post their session, several months overdue, but still as beautiful as ever! Thank you SO much Jaclyn for being such a wonderful friend to me, and letting me take your family photos!
